Our Story
What Noolva means
Noolva comes from the Kannada word “Noolu” — thread. Every stitch we make carries care, tradition and individuality forward.
We started Noolva to bring boutique-quality, personally fitted tailoring back to the neighbourhood — where every garment is discussed, measured and finished by hand, not mass-produced.

Shubha Bhat
Founder & Master Tailor
With over two decades behind the sewing machine, Shubha has dressed brides, built wardrobes and quietly perfected thousands of blouses for women of all kinds. Much of her craft grew from watching, practicing and being inspired by other skilled tailors along the way — and more recently, professional training in boutique-style stitching to keep sharpening her skills.
What sets her apart isn't just the stitching — it's the listening. Every consultation starts with your story, your event, your comfort, long before the tape measure comes out.

Her Journey
Built over twenty years
No single certificate tells this story — just years of hands-on practice, inspiration from other skilled tailors, and a recent push to keep upskilling with professional training.
Shubha's craft didn't come from one classroom. It grew from years of watching, practicing and being inspired by other skilled tailors — and a genuine curiosity to always get a little better.
More recently, she took focused, professional training in boutique-style stitching, working with recognized professionals to sharpen her craft even further. Twenty-plus years in, that mix of hands-on experience and continued learning shows up in every seam — precise, considered, and finished with quiet confidence.
